This is an elite team that travels around the world to work with very high end designers, photo shoots, hair shows and major runway shows around the world. Everyone that works with JJS is able to be a part of the JJS creative team.

Education and Certifications take place at the home office classroom - where internal educators teach our teams. Stylists who reach a certain level in our program, and have a passion for teaching, are given the opportunity to become educators in those classrooms.

At higher levels all of our team members are offered the benefit of choosing the schedule they wish. However, we are very understanding and want every member of the JJS family to feel supported, so we are flexible with moms and people in certain situations that have limited schedules.

One of the perks to becoming a high level stylist at J. Joseph is the guest deposit benefit. Guests are asked to leave a deposit upon scheduling an appointment so that in the event of a no show, our team member is compensated in some way.

Vacation days are determined by stylist level and in a gradual manner. As you grow at JJS, you unlock more vacation days a year!

Here at J. Joseph, “responsibilities” are a way of stepping into a leadership program. Responsibilities are anything administrative such as making orders and checking duties for the day.

We offer an 8 - 12 months program that teaches our team members the ins and outs of managing a hair salon and front desk. This program graduates our members to management positions within our company.

All of our high-level stylists are given the opportunity to mentor an associate member of the team behind the chair. The benefits of this mentorship are comprehensive as they not only allow associates to learn techniques from our best JJS stylist in a hands-on manner, but the mentoring stylist will also be able to have an associate’s help.

At higher levels stylists are able to choose specializations once they’ve satisfied Pillar Programs, received certifications, met their targeted goals and maintained a full book. The benefits of specializing include but aren’t limited to: ability to increase their prices for specialty services and advertise their specialty with support of JJS and industry brands.

Profit sharing is offered to all team members who take on a management role within the company- amongst other business responsibilities.

Team members who have chosen to pursue a management position can embark on the journey to salon ownership. An entrepreneurial route at JJS comes with extensive business, leadership, marketing and management training that ensures the success of our new salon owners and upholds our company’s goals, objectives, mission and vision.

We offer a complete benefits package to all full-time eligible employees including Medical and Teledoc, a doctor call in service. J. Joseph Salon contributes 50% of Employee healthcare premium.
